April 11

04/11: beautiful weather, perfect sea and dolphins! what else!! yesterday we went in family with some friends to Tintamarre island with the LUHAINA2, for good time! with our picnic we pass the day on board! before the lunch, we went to the point of the island to see the dolphins!! no word to describe our sensation!! beautiful, fantastic!! they're here normally for april and may!!

04/02 : great days arrived! we've also a hard winter for the caribbean! the water temperature was 73.4°F, it's very cold!! this morning Jérémy left with divers to Tintamarre island with also pti-Pat, our first instructor with his children for diving! when they came back to the center, only one word, the giant grouper!!! close the tug boat to Tintamarre island, was the giant grouper, around 264 pds!! amazing because here we've so many different fishes, from many family but not so big!! we're sorry no picture, but we're not the first who saw him, so may be another time!!

March 11

March was very busy, sorry I did not have time to write on the news! a lot of course in French federation and Padi! many divers, and Jo came with his family like every year! He dove with us from so many years, now he include in the Neptune's family! a good new, dolphins and wales are arrived!!

February 11

02/07: Today is the birthday of my second daughter Lùna, 9 years old, and next saturday, we'll do the party on the beach to the center like usually, so don't be surprise to see balloons, many children, I'll be happy to offer you a piece of my home cakes!! from last friday, the weather changed of lot, all around the island it's really raft and windy! last week was good, our divers saw to the dive spot behind Pinel, sharks, sea turtle, eagle ray and one big dolphin, amazind dive with really good visibility; the next day behind Tintamarre, we saw on surface a whale and during the dive, their beautiful song!!!

02/01: Finally the GPS on Saint-Martin, a company start the GPS to the car rental!!NEPTUNE DIVE CENTER so signed with Soneva to be registered and to help you to find us more easylly and to drive all around our island! you can rent it for a ridiculous price to AVIS, GOLFE CAR RENTAL, HERTZ, NONO CAR RENTAL, FIRST CLASS CARS, DOLLAR THRIFTY AND PARADISE CAR RENTAL!!

January 11

01/06: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011, all the team and myself wish you a goo and happy new year 2011!! After very bad weather for the Christmas and New Eve, a weather very bad for diving ( strong wind and dangerous sea), we've now better conditions to go out!! Jérémy catched a Lion fish in the bay under our boat! like I explained this fish is very bad and dangerous for our ecosystem!!

12/26: Merry Christmas! hope everybody had a great Eve!! our weather forecast is very capricious with unusual swell from north west, strong and dangerous, not very good for diving, especially for the Caribbean cost!!

12/24: Still births of sea turtles, this time close Cub Orient, the sea turtles love orient bay! we called Pauline from the office of the natural marine park reserve, the children were very happy to help again, to pick and back to the sea all the baby!!encore des naissances de bébés tortues; cette fois-ci côté club orient!! décidément les tortues adorent Orient bay!

12/12:Our repeat from Swizerland cambe back!! Nath and Patrick came back to Saint-Martin for diving of course and the beach!! A awesome news, Nath had to cancel her dives because, she realize like she's pregnant!! we're so happy for them and congrats!!

November 10

11/29: It's the winter!! In the tropics!!! last friday our divers came back very happy from their dives to Tintamarre island! during their second dive to the 'tugboat', a beautiful hammerhead shark, 10 ft size! with a really big head!! Ashley took a picture, I hope the picture will be great to put it online!!!

11/14: despite a big swell from north, we've a fantastic sea! we did very nice dives, on dive sites protected for the swell and we did great dives to Philisburg with Proselyte and Ro-Ro wreck, and to let the opportunity to a couple to dive there together, I accepted to be their baby-sistter for their daughter!!

Saturday morning, we had a bid and fantastic surpise,the birth of sea turtles to the dive center,warned by "néné" from the watersports of Kontiki, found many babies, which were all time bring back to the sand by the waves and couldn't go deeper!! after a fast phone call to the marine park office the mission was to save the maximum of sea turtles! everybody know the small purcentage of sea turtles will be adult! Jérémy, me the team from the watersports, my daughters, with a lot of children but also tourits and Steeve from the marine park, we found 37 babies in the morning to finish the day with a total of 71 babies!! the responsable of the marine park found the print of the sand just behind our center!

on the second picture, Steeve from the Watersports and Jérémy leave from orient beach by jet-ski(with the special permission of the marine park) with the basin of babies to go to green cay island!! jet ski are not allowed in the marine park!!

11/05: today it's my birthday, 41 years old!! everybody wished me!!as it should!! Jérémy arrived, now the team is complete with also when we need, always Fabien and Franck!!

a little reminder for the certified divers, dont forget to bring with you your medical statement, it's obligatory for certified diver or people would like to take a course!!

10/18 : the new season 2010/2011 start!! holidays are finished pour Laurent and me, Jérémy'll join us begining of november, he prefered to stay more with his family in France; the season didn't start yet, it's time for starting center, reception from our new gear ( tanks, bcd, regulators, wetsuit...); it's time also for the big cleaning outside and inside the center! we lost our new hut during Earl huricante, where we cleaned and dry the gear! anyway now we're waiting the end of the huricane season to build another one!! our boat LUHAINA came back from its review and maintenance,not without difficulty the day before its arrival to Orient bay, peoples from shipyard forgot the caps out from the boat, when they put it to the water! so we found it full of water,fortunatly, just loosing time but no damaged to the engine or electric systeme!!

09/10: hello everybody! from the last August 28th, we closed our season 2009/2010!Laurent and Jérémy left to go back in France to visit their family! we had time before Earl hurricane, to put out all the gear from the dive center and protected our boats! nothing was destroyed except the new place, we built few time before to clean and dry the gear and so we'll wait the end of the hurricane period to build another one! around the dive center, a big clean will be neccessary!

August 10

08/07: The summer comes to the end and the season too!we close the dive center at the end of August and will start the new season half october! Jérémy and Laurent'll go back to France for their holidays, and for me will be the moment to prepare school for my daughters! for scuba diving, July has been disrupted by bad weather and some days we couldn't go out, not nice to dive in a cloudy sea without visibility! August is a better month and so we can have nice and fun dive!A bad new for the diving in Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten, the Lionfish arrived in our sea! it's an invasive venomous fish, this fish have not predator! The marine Park from the french side and The nature foundation from the dutch side are in alert, and all is organized to capture all the specimen!!

May 10

05/19: we came back form our vacation in Orlando! very great time, amazing, we did 5 attraction parks!! it's so nice, people so friendly, super for shopping!! I'll be happy to give our goods contacts for people need some nice address!during this week, Jérémy and Laurent worked on the dive center! the week was windy! but they could start some courses and a lot of repeat arrived from N-Y, so happy to see them, because they're still there!!

05/03:Last thursday, all our french divers left, so great time passed with Patrick, Véro, Pauline, Charles but also with Serge, Marine, Philippe and more!! nices dives either in the french side or dutch side, moment of discovery with Troy who dove with a so small digital camera "goprocamera" for nice pictures and videos but also with Steeve with an ultra professional camera "Nikon D700", amazing pictures!! Steeve send me 2 pictures by email, so amazing, I'll put them on our website and he promises to send to me a cd with all!! the price also is so funny with a mini price,270$ for the goprocamera up to around 5000$ for the Nikon with all lenses, underwater box....the last week-end with the 1st of may, we profited to change the hut where we clean and dry the dive gear! the old one was small and closed destroyed for a new one, bigger, typical and ecolo in wood with coconut palm for the roof!! big tentation to intall a hammock!!

next friday, me with Fabien and our daughters go to Orlando for 11 days for the parks!!!!Jérémy and Laurent will take care the dive center but also our house and ours dogs!!

04/20/10: hi everybody, last week was no perfect with the weather conditions, cloudy, strong sea, and windy! today, the weather is perfect, small wind, sun and warm with a perfect sea!! our french divers from last week are still there!! everybody know that the planes couldn't come!! big problem, but some hotels did a big deal and proposed super rate for the next days in Saint-Martin!!

03/12:From last week, we had a perturbed weather with the last week-end very rainy and the begining of the week very cloudy,a winter weather that we've forgotten!!! Already one month that our second boat "LUHAINA2" arrived from The United Arab Emirats;a magnificent Sea Dan 36ft with 2X300H Mercury!!! in spite the weather, we have a group of more 10 Gendarmes, arrived here for 3 months from Toulouse,which have the great idea to profit to be there to pass a certification for diving!!

02/10 : fantastic weather for this week! this week we've 20 young people for discover scuba diving from the CREPS(regional central for physical and education sport); a lot of young people from the island don't know Saint-Martin underwater but also the opportunity to be an instructor!! on the picture some of them with Cécile their manager!!

the great weather is back!! the last week of january was catastrophic for the weather!! strong wind, big waves, swell, less 10 ft for the visibility, a true washing machine!! we took the decision to cancel all the dives and snorkeling for the week! quality and honesty are our device!!

January 2010

No comment!! too much time, and too long story to explain our silence on the news!! but a lot of news, the same team from the last summer, still Laurent and Jérémy for the instructors and sometimes Fabien, but actually he's so busy with our company for underwater work, SXM COMMERCIAL DIVERS! so from the begining of the year, we've a really good weather, sea so warm,81°, so quiet and without wind!! still so many things to see, however ours instructors saw in some dive sites poaching species of animals !! we go all time in a natural marine park, and normally guarded!! unfortunately we're powerless in front of this incivility from the poachers and the restaurants which buy them their fishing!!!!

soon I'll load the pictures from our new boat! actually the boat is in the dutch side for the final, (put the engines, cables..) normally this boat will be for private dive or boat charter! I'll give you more when it'll be ready! this week was the week of repeat guests (Brett, Jason, Mich, Eric with his familly all divers, Franck, Alain and more)! we'd also some course for FFESSM level II! more and more french divers from France, Mayotte, Guyane or french leaving in US!!

10/23: we've the same fantastic weather like in september, so warm and great! an amazing weather to go diving!! the island is quiet, very nice for the persons who are here in vacation to profit more! for this month, most of the divers came from New-York! good idea for them like we say in french to charge the battery for the hard and cold winter!! here the ouside temperature is 84°F and for the sea 86°F!!

10/05: our vacations are finished! the time pass so fast!! last week-end we went to the center, to change, to clean, to improve, paint....the boat will be also ready for this week, after all revison, anti-fouling, spring cleaner!! the weather was so warm in september!! last evening a nice storm; the sea stay really warm and so quiet!! the team of Neptune is ready for the next season, a lot of news that I'll give you later!!

09/01: Holidays for the team!! time for a break, to bring everything for the revision!! most of the hotels and restaurants do the same like us!! I'll profit to put more pictures and maybe videos! we're closed for 2 weeks and may be all the month!! last saturday we went to Tintamarre island, amazing visibility, and so much fishes!!

08/11: good start for this month, nice weather!! 3 new open water junior, Phoebe, Emmanuelle and Thibault, they're very good in dive as in theoric!!Serge and Stéphanie from Marseille came for more 10 days to visit us; they're repeat now from 2002, they're no more guest now but friends! I put a video on the page of green cay dive site and will put for each one, just be patient!!

07/24: the sun is back from 2 days!! our boat is to Tintamarre island! a few wind! last friday on the beach between waikiki and coco beach restaurant, birth of Luth sea turtle

07/20: the weather now is so bad!! from many days all people are in vacation in St Martin or Sint Maarten can see a really bad weather!! all around the island the sea is so raft, wind start from 17 knots to 25 and the size of the waves arrive to 10 ft! also rain, rain, rain!!the island is in yellow vigilance, and so too dangerous for scuba diving or snorkeling; so it's naturally we cancelled all the departure; I'm so sorry for all people came to this period and have not so much nice weather!!

07/07: today a beautiful weather after a week-end cloudy!! now on Orient Bay, a lot of people came from the cruise ship for a break obligatory to our beach! I put more pictures in the gallery, funny!! Congratulation to little Léo who passed his Padi open water junior!! next month He'll go on vacation to Grenada island where he'll discover other dive sites!!

06/30: time flies, we forget to give you some news! the temperature of the water rises still, now closed to 86°F! it's the summer holidays for our daughter, Uhaïna go to the college and Lùna go to the CE1 (difficult to explain you our level, sorry); they did a good work this year, and will profit their summer time!Not neccessary to tell you like it's a really good period to go diving!!today we received some news from Laurent and Corinne which passed with us their certification for the first level last january; they go this summer for diving in Malta and previous to come back next year! so nice to keep contact! this week, don't miss one thing, Friday, July 4th the parade of the Club Orient on the beach, national Day for USA, Happy Day to you!! one thing else, if you want to see some videos from us, we put some on youtube, great time!!

06/17: Fabien left to pick up some divers from the catamaran of Tradewinds yacht club! directly to Tintamarre for a nice dive! last sathurday we organized a "sunset to tintamarre" with divers friends! it was amazing, we had really fun time, we laught a lot, we took a lot of pictures and videos! we celebrate again some certification for several divers! it was great, we have to do it again and not especially for celebration of certification! also on our blog a lot of videos in french or english, but from last week, we have now in spanish, thanks to our super great group of divers from Barcelona! and also now one in japanese, very thanks to Yoshino who live in New-York for many years but play the game with us to the video blog

06/09 : heat rises, the water is more and more warm, yet a few wind, the sea is great! scuba diving every day and like the sea is calm, we can go everywhere, especially spanish rock and the caves from Tintamarre which are not accessible when the sea is strong and raft!!

05/29: Again 4 dolphins yesterday during our dives to Tintamarre, super!! it was a really great month of May, weather was super and also a lot of divers; this week-end again some great dives are organized for this long week-end, arrival from Guadeloupe for some divers but also divers from the dutch side, which the dives reputation from Tinamarre want to discover our dives! may be the dolphins will be there!!!

05/22: it's the week-end of "Ascension", the temperature is so hot, the sea is like a lake, our group from Martinique is completed with also John and Sabine from New-York! tomorrow evening we'll have an appetizer with champagne and pina colada at home to celebrate the certification of open water for John !!yay the bubbles!!

05/18:May is the month who start the low season for Saint-Martin and also for ours neighbours of Sint-Maarten! the tourists enjoy this period, your can find tickets for plane cheaper and also for the hotels!About that to find a place to stay, some guest ask me by mail some infos for our dives but alos for a place to stay! please don't hesitate, it's a great pleasure to help you!!Dolphins and whales left, but we still have so much nice things to see!! 04/17: we continue with great time!! during the dives, we saw black tip shark, dolphins and whales with always a lot of sea turtle, baracudas!! Tintamarre island is a very nice place with so much sites and so closed to Orient beach!!

04/08: the beautiful weather continue!! and the dolphins still there; so everything is good!! last monday wedding diving with Joel and Domi!! a great dive with champagne and soon on the blog the complete video !!

last friday we saw a female whale with her baby in the front of Tintamarre island!! we hear them a lot during the dive! the dolphins are there also, so now every body is be back!!
